Monster torque, replaced my 10 year old snap on brushed 1/2" impact , it was old and tired. Had the newest ,baddest snap on brushless and had nothing but issues so returned it. Hope this DeWalt is a s reliable as all my other DeWalt tools. It effortlessly broke a lug nut off a truck I scrapped today in drive, meaning tightened the lug nut till it snapped the stud right off! Bought this for stubborn stuff and tightening pinions to get the crush washer to start crushing.

It's a Beast
This is an absolute beast. My neighbor with a pneumatic impact wrench had to spray the bolts on the rear tire of my truck to remove the lug nuts. I had to take off a front tire with my Dewalt and the longest it had to hammer before loosening a nut was under 3 seconds. Most of the lug nuts backed off immediately. I am old and with the arthritis in my hands it is hard to use conventional tools even with a cheater bar. It would have taken me about 20 minutes to get the lug nuts with a tire tool but only took about 3 minutes to remove all the lugs. With a little more practice I can probably cut that time in half. I absolutely love the fact this has multiple speeds as it will protect me from tightening the lugs too tight. This is my first tool with a hog ring instead of a detent pin and ...
