Purchased the J7 because it is relatively new to the market (hopefully the device will continue to receive software updates), compatibility with Google, app & mapping abilities, and price in budget (plus, this is a Massachusetts company). Findings so far - noisier and the battery charge is not as long as I expected. The app is very good. Does a good job picking up dog hairs, I recommend buying the emptying base. This is our first robot `Dusty` - overall not yet disappointed with our purchase.

Love this model. We have 6 pets, (5 cats and 1 puppy), and 4 kids, so this is instrumental in helping with the hair, dust and general dirt that our carpets see! Best feature is the ability to mark zones in your home to avoid, and custom set runs. I didn't want a dual or a self-emptying, but did want one to avoid pet waste or food (kids!), and so far, so good with this model. We got it quickly, too! Happy all around. :)

Product arrived sooner than expected. Pros: everything there as described and product does work well...now. cons: Docking station has a huge crack in it out of box, it works but still disappointing. All of the crews on the bottom of unit were loose and I needed to tighten noticed after mapping run also the corner brush also came off during first run. Poor QC!
