The battery was not in it's original packaging and it looked well used and dirty. It has no tag on the bottom of the battery that I am use to seeing to let you know the particulars about the battery. It was covered with a small piece of bubble wrap and shipped in an over sized box. I am not going to do any more business with this seller.

    Great battery!

    I thought I was going to need to replace my Dyson, it only ran for 6-8 seconds and shut off. It turns out it just needed a new battery. This battery charges quickly, and holds it charge for many uses. Great quality for the money!

    Suck it up!

    I think in most cases the problem is not the motor. This unit is a workhorse with a short running period being it's major flaw. I realized that the motor wasn't the problem when the replacement motor, when swapped out with the original motor, still didn't function properly. I ordered a new battery and now it works fine. The unit is great for small messes, as the battery will only run for 3 minutes on full power. What's nice is the portability and ease of use. If you have a big mess to clean up, use a full size vacuum cleaner.
