I purchased this magazine to use in a conversion. I presently own a box fed bolt gun and wanted to convert it to clip fed for competition. A staggered box max was to wide and bulky. I found this single stack fit my bottom metal almost perfectly. As with all modifications there were trials and tribulations but, in the end it works and feeds flawlessly. Great product and workmanship.

Excellent mags for my Mosin Archangel build
These mags are part of what makes the Mosin Archangel build so worthwhile. Instead of having to awkwardly feed 5 rounds into the internal mag on the original Mosin, one is able to pop an empty mag out and pop a full one in, all in a fraction of the time it would take to load the original Mosin. And these mags appear to be well built. Sturdy Thermold plastic, a strong spring, yet they load easily so your fingers/thumbs don't take a beating. The price is excellent, AND with a lifetime gaurantee, it's hard to go wrong with these guys.These mags are part of what makes the Mosin Archangel build so worthwhile. This is a very nice change from the original Mosin Magazine. One thing you need to remember is that there will be one floating round above the mag in the rifle, if you remove the mag before empting one round will fall out! Still way better than the original top feed.

Well built magazine. Feeds good, simple design. Only draw back is that firing 10 rounds of this caliber all at once will put a hurting on your shoulder and cheek. The entire archangel package for the mosin nagant is an incredibly sensible way to transform your mosin into an affective hunting rifle. Also, it makes for one accurate bolt action rifle with iron sights for just target shooting. Just remember, if firing surplus ammo, it is corrosive. Clean it shortly after firing with window cleaner/ammonia or pee down the barrel if in a pinch! lol Buy this product and all of the accessories for your mosin. Skip the scope unless you can get ahold of a bent bolt in order to mount a scope over the breach and further back on the rifle. Otherwise, cheeking up to the archangle stock puts you dead on ... Product is OK and works fine just won't hold 10 rounds, only holds 9!! The 5 round mags hold 5 but my tens which I bought 3 of them only hold 9 rounds and barely hold 9 I may only use7-8 in them at a time to keep from messing them up other than that I can't say much
