Good light-duty, small drill!
Got this because my full-size brushed 18V drill is becoming an issue at times due to an arthritic shoulder. The drill works well, is lighter and smaller than the larger unit, and it fits into spaces that the larger drill doesn't. That said, it is "old tech" since it's a brushed unit, but for me that's just fine. Now I have to decide if I'll keep the older unit or pass it on. The fact that two batteries are included is helpful. Great tool, good price
My new drill's first project was driving about sixty-five 2.5" deck screws into redwood. It made the work easy, and was still going as strong at the end as when I started. The grip was comfortable enough that my arthritic hands and wrists didn't ache afterward. I like the fact that the nice, bright LED stays lit for a few seconds when you release the trigger, so you can see to align the bit without its turning. A few things could be improved: 1) the direction switch moves too easily, making it easy to bump it inadvertently into lock mode, or even the opposite direction. 2) the chuck tends to tighten as you work, and my arthritic hands then cannot loosen it without use of large pliers or a pipe wrench. 3) the refurbished unit I got came with a flat bit and a phillips bit.
