With a blue ray player and lots of binge time these fill in gaps from so many years of trying to watch on commercial tv and spotty Netflix. There are so many witty, scientific and pseudo science things and such great setting/staging; a lot to appreciate for an old teacher and artist also.

Stargate SG-1 the series was an instant success with the pilot movie Stargate with Kurt Russell. The Series Cast are perfect. The creators of SG-1 are nothing short of pure genius. The spinoff are OK, however, there will never be another Stargate SG-1. Other greats are "Star Trek: the original series", Star Trek: The Next Generation", Star: Enterprise", and who can forget "Voyager" and "Deep Space Nine" not to forget also the feature films, the best of which was "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan".
