Better than I expected
This turned out better than I hoped and I have no problem recommending this to others. We had a very old pink formica countertop with scratches here and there but otherwise fine just ugly. I took my time and followed the instructions as written and watched the video as well. My only advice is to be careful when sanding as it's easy to go too far. Fortunately, in the places I went too far I had plenty of extra material to redo those few spots. I was also able to give it three coats of the clear final coat instead of two only because there was enough to do so. So far it looks great especially in comparison to the pink formica. The two photos I include do not do it justice.This turned out better than I hoped and I have no problem recommending this to others.
