What grill rocks should be.
These are very absorbent grill rocks. My grill did not come with lava rocks it only had a burner bar that the grease was supposed to drip on and then be burned off. It seemed like most of the grease just ended up in the bottom of the grill and was just a constant mess that had to be cleaned often. I added these rocks to the bottom of my grill and the problem was solved. The bag contains just the right amount to cover the bottom of your grill with abut 1 1/2 inches of rock which I have found to be the right thickness. Works Great for my Gas Grill!
