Love the size, ease of use and features. The battery is long lasting and simple to charge. Purchased for my partner thinking I'd be a struggle to talk him into using it, but within hours his regular watch was cast aside and he hasn't looked back. Being water proof is really handy too!

Easy setup and calibration (steps per mile), has a good Android interface and all the usual features included in comparable devices. At first I was a bit disappointed at the brightness visibility in the dark, and even though it is adjustable, I still keep it at the lowest setting as it is adequate to see when your eyes are adjusted to the dark. I wear it overnight to track my sleep patterns and if it were any brighter, it would be annoying. I killed my Fitbit by accidently getting it wet. I got this Garmin Vivosmart mainly because it is water resistant. I'm glad I gave it a try as now the Fitbit interface seems not as convenient to use as the Garmin. I like the built in battery gauge and battery life has been at least 4 days with one-battery bar still showing. The Fitbit Charge 2 was more like 3 days and the only way to tell how much battery charge was left was to plug it into the charger. The touchscreen is so much better than pushing a side button too. It is a bit thicker, but having the GPS is nice and the thickness does not make it uncomfortable. I recommend this tracker especially under $70 (refurbished) through the factory outlet and looks like new.Read full review

I've hardly taken it off since buying it, aside from charging, which I feel like a hardly ever have to do. Love the piece of mind of it being waterproof. Its very durable. I wear it while doing yard work or working on my car and you'd never know.

my fitbit worked good enough. but after only 18 months it fell apart. Bought the Garmin Vivosmart HR+ to replace it. not only does it match all of the fitbit's attributes, but it surpasses them. The fact that this model is swim friendly (not just doing dishes friendly) and the wristband is replaceable has made it 10 times better than the fitbit and at a slightly lower price.

I have been wearing this watch for about two months. I wear it all day long to track steps and sleep and use the GPS to track runs. The gps is really accurate and I love not having to carry my phone when running. So far everything works great. Love the notifications from my iPhone.
