Not a quality solution.
The cap of the venting piece would not remain attached in the closed position. Through the manufacturer website, I reached to get an assist in obtaining a properly functioning vent piece. No response was received from the manufacturer to my inquiry. The overall engineering of this particular model leaves something to be desired. The spout cover cap also has an issue with how it attaches over the pour spout. It does not attach securely. I am concerned it may end up dropping/sliding into the gas tank of whatever I am filling during a gas refill. This particular model is best described as a minimal-grade residential quality piece.
