just what the shooter ordered
These rings are the right height I needed for mounting a scope on my .303 no 4 Enfield. they went on my weaver rail easily, and the next day I took my rifle using these rings to the range with great success. I would buy these rings in the future.

Vortex states on their site that these rings are not for rifles with a lot of recoil. I bought these without doing my research thoroughly. Vortex also recommends not using these on center-fire rifles. I was going to mount these on my .308 but decided against it. Besides without a riser my scope won't work with these even though they are a medium. I discovered a taller ring would be necessary for my Vortex 3x9x40 scope.Vortex states on their site that these rings are not for rifles with a lot of recoil. From the first impression it looks solid and well made. True enough, when I installed it on my Rem 700. The clamps, rings and screws fit easily and holds the scope liked a vise grips. The overall quality and value is better than most costly riflescope rings in the market!! Deserves 5 stars!!

Great good quality ring. decided to go all Vortex. If anything I would make the screw cruve depth on mount screw deeper. but love Vortex optics and parts. Great product.
