Lightweight and easy to use.
My first word of advise is to be patient as the room humidity increases. We started at about 10% humidity and it took a little over a week for the room humidity to reach the 30's. I also believe that it is also more appropriate for a good sized room rather than a whole house. It is easy to use and quiet when run on lower fan speeds. Higher fan speeds are not as quiet. I would not repurchase
The machine works great as it comes and goes off as it should and is quiet on lower speeds , it is the tank and chemical is my concern. The tank has no way to see inside and thus no way to clean it if there is a problem . The chemical advises that you wear protective gear, so without a degree in chemistry I don't know if this product is safe for me to use.

On high output it is very loud. One notch down (medium high) a lot quieter, acceptable level that’s ignorable. We have 1850sqft loft with 15ft ceilings. Within a few hours of running this the humidity level will go from 30% to 40%. We hygrometers all over the place and this replaced 2 ultrasonic humidifiers that didn’t work as well as this evaporative one. Using the bacteriostatic additive. Soak the filter in vinegar water for a few hours cleans it for longer use. Happy with purchase On high output it is very loud. I've owned a number of humidifiers over the years. This is a winner. Pros: It puts a lot of moisture into the air, it's quiet enough on its lower settings, and it has a digital humidistat. Cons: The water tank is on the small side (I'm refilling three times each day), being totally opaque, you can't tell by looking how much water remains in the tank, and the construction feels a little flimsy.
