Like infosnacks that you can't stop consuming...
Scott Kelby must be a walking encyclopedia of all things digital and photographic. His ability to break stuff down into easily learnable bits probably has a lot to do with his success, and he is a generous and superb teacher. Pro: The format of these books make the ideas presented VERY easy to grasp, and there is a true wealth of ideas on offer here. It's hard not to learn something every time you pick one of these books up. Cons: It can be a little hard to organize notes for future reference with this multi-volume collection. Kelby has a charismatic writing style that indulges non-sequitur and abstract references in a way that has always annoyed and fatigued me. Some people love it, but I do not. Volume 5 is like the collected greatest hits from the previous 4 editions. It's ... Scott Kelby must be a walking encyclopedia of all things digital and photographic.
