The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle
This is an Excellent Children's book; as are All of Eric Carle's books. He does an excellent job of putting 'life' subjects down on a level a small child can understand. In This particualar book; the Spider has many opportunites to make friends with many different animals but she is Much too busy to be bothered; she doesn't even Answer them when they speak to her (this can be used to teach Children about Curteosy & respect & how to make friends)....Finally the Busy Spider acknowledges the rooster but ONLY because what He Says is to HER Benefit. Finally, One More Animal tries to befriend the Spider but she is too tired from all that she has been doing & doesnt answer because she has now fallen asleep. I like this book because it gives opportunity for the Adult to Talk with the Child about ... This is an Excellent Children's book; as are All of Eric Carle's books. My Grandson Loves it & he is only 1 &1/2 years old! its never too early to begin teaching & This book allows that to happen in a FUN way!!

Great children's book by Eric Carle
Another classic children's book by award winning author and illustrator Eric Carle, this book gets much use in our household. My son loves the colorful illustrations and touching the different textures, shapes and animals. Ages 1+.

This book is the great product if you can get the CD it makes it more fun for the children. Very interactive and teaches children animal sounds.
