Good Saw for the Price
Good saw, really easy to start and cuts very well. It’s on the heavy side, even with a 14” bar, but not too bad. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was that the kill switch had slipped out of its socket and wasn’t working. I took the top cover off, pushed it back in place, and now it’s all good. One thing to note, the specs say that the maximum bar size is 18”, but so far I haven’t been able to find one that length. Neither Husqvarna nor Oregon sell one, so I may be stuck with the 14” and 16” options only. Not really a deal-breaker, but I hate it when they set specs you can’t get the equipment for. I use this brand a lot ,I am very displeased.
It refused to start out of the box it would not even hit so I decided to check the sparkplug the saw was full of water the sparkplug was rusted very badly useing a light I looked into the bore or cylinder it has green slime growing inside the bore and the cylinder walls are very scarred I have waisted a lot of time waiting on this saw to arrive all I have received from HUSQVARNA is the generic warranty explanation. See photos . Runs great. started easily Looks brand new never used in spite of being "refurbished. Only Problem was missing oil tank cap which was replaced by Husqvarna but took couple of weeks to arrive. It was only a $2.31 so I should have just gone to a dealer for it since saw was only143.00.

It has all the power of a brand new one for half the price. It ran great, I used it all day cutting brush and small green trees and it worked great. Saw runs well and the price is good. We are happy. Lots of power for a 14"bar. Very surprised. I am a mature saw owner and purchased it as a beginner saw for my grandson. He will learn a lot by owning this saw. I wish it had the anti kick bracket bolted to the nose but it does not. A sample of gas mix oil would have been a plus, but I got him started. The book, like most, is weak. I would like my grandson to learn about face shields, cut proof pants, hearing protection and all he needs to learn. The biggest safety note in the book was to not cut off the branch you are sitting on. Really?Saw runs well and the price is good. We are happy. Lots of power for a 14"bar. Very surprised.
