Previously owning a Roomba S9+ I didn't have high expectations for another robot vacuum. But setup was a breeze. Mapping my 2000 sqft ranch home literally took 20 minutes. Watching this device methodically move about my home scanning the rooms was amazing. Unlike the roomba (moving around and hitting walls) the roborock's lidar is a game changer. JUST BUY IT

Frees you from floor cleaning
It is simple and easy to put together and setup the base station. The app is very intuitive and offers lot of customizations. The robot maps the house with good precision, including the floor type and hardwood layout and if there an error in the map, it is easy to modify the map in the app. It is possible to define rooms, add multiple floors, set room-wise cleaning schedule from the app. I don't have any complaints about the vacuum and mopping performance. Make sure that there are no loose items/cables on the floor while cleaning, they get dragged otherwise. Overall, once you set up the schedules, you can forget about manual floor cleaning. Base station will need your attention once a week. Note: Ensure that base station is installed in a hardwood floor or low profile carpet as the robot ... So far it works great
It has a great app that maps the house then gives you the option to vacuum and mop individual rooms or do the entire house. You can set different cleaning conditions for each room. Still learning about all the features this Roborock S7 MaxV ultra has to offer.

Love the auto dust empty and water refill features. I have a Labrador and the old vacuum dust bin used to be full in just one cleaning cycle, this one saves lot of hassle of emptying the dust bin.

Good but has short comings
A good unit but it doesn’t do well with deep Ply carpets. Has a problem going from tile or wood floors to carpets if the carpet is more that 1/2 “ higher.

Does what it should. Refurb was NOT an issue
No Issues. I have been using daily for a while now and it does what I expected. It will NOT replace bucket and mop but will reduce that to once or twice a week. Same with vacuum. It will keep you on top of things but you will need to do a full sweep manually once a week All in all is exactly what I had expected. One tip. While it is not supposed to need it be sure to wet the mop before using each time. It will improve the first ten mins or so of mopping. I found my mop was rather dry for first few minutes and got better as the robot ran. Pre wetting mop helps in that regardNo Issues.
