Overview: The GoPower GoSpeed Electric Bike is designed for the adventurous lifestyle. It is ideal for everyday urban commuting as well as weekend trail riding. The bike works well on the street and off-road. It's large tires can get you through sand or snow, over rocky trails, and everything in-between. The seat and handlebars are adjustable, and fits riders from 5' to 6'-5". You can accessorize the GoSpeed bike with front and rear fenders or a rear rack. The electric bike is covered by a 1-year warranty.

Assembly: Once the package arrives, the GoSpeed Electric Bike will need to be assembled. After removing the protective packaging, you will need to install the handlebars, front wheel, seat, front light, and pedals. The pedals are specifically marked for left and right. The left pedal is reverse-threaded, and tightens by turning the bolt counter-clockwise. The battery slides into its track on the frame and clicks into place. After checking the bike's mechanical operation, you are ready to ride.

Frame: The GoSpeed is constructed with a 6061 Aluminum frame. This grade of aluminum is commonly used on bicycle frames and aircraft.

Seat: The Velo sport seat features comfortable padding and can be tilted forward or backward as desired. It comes attached to 27.2mm x 350mm (1.07" diameter x 13.78" length) seat post, which can be adjusted up or down with a quick-release clamp. The seat height range is 28" to 36.5".

Handlebars: The Zoom aluminum handlebars are 26" wide with a 6" rise. The angle of the stem can be adjusted up to 60°. The handlebars come with durable, slip-resistant rubber grips that are comfortable during long rides.

Tires: The GoSpeed is equipped with Kenda Juggernaut 26" x 4", puncture-resistant "fat" tires. The recommended pressure indicated on the sidewall is 20 PSI. The rims are double-walled and made of aluminum alloy.

Lights: The bike has front and rear lights for added visibility. The front light can be switched on or off as needed from the control pad. The rear light will brighten when the brakes are applied.

Front Forks: The front suspension forks have up to 80mm (3.15") of travel. They can be adjusted according to the rider's weight and the terrain you're traveling.

Motor: The GoSpeed e-bike is powered by a 750-watt Hailong brushless gear hub motor. The motor provides five pedal assist speeds: 1 (eco), 2-3 (standard), 4-5 (power). The 3-button control pad on the left side of the handlebar lets you raise or lower the pedal assist levels.

Throttle: The bike features a half-twist throttle beside the right handle grip. The throttle safety button must be pushed in before the throttle can be activated to prevent accidental movement.

Brakes: The GoSpeed is equipped with Tektro 180mm front and rear brake rotors and Tektro aluminum alloy mechanical brake levers on the handlebar. When the brakes are applied, a signal is sent to cut off the motor to help you stop quicker. The brakes have automatic brake caliper centering and automatic pad angle adjustments for best performance. The left brake lever also has an integrated bell to alert pedestrians.

Shifter: The GoSpeed e-bike features a 7-speed Shimano thumb shifter and 7-speed Shimano Tourney derailleur with a protective guard. Shifting up through the gears is smooth and easy.

Crank, Chain, Pedals: The bike has a 170mm 42T Pro Wheel crank with a chain guard on both sides so there's no exposed teeth. The rust-resistant KMC-brand chain stays put on the crank. The Wellgo aluminum pedals are wide with reflectors to add to your visibility and safety.

LCD Display: The e-bike has a GoPower SW900 LCD panel with a grayscale display. The LCD shows your current speed, odometer reading, battery level, wattmeter, and pedal assist level. It also indicates if your headlight is on. On the side of the display panel is a USB port with a 5V / 1A output that can be used to charge your phone or a GPS navigation device.

Control Pad: On the left side of the handlebar is a 3-button control pad. The center button turns the bike on and off while the up and down arrow buttons let you adjust the pedal assist levels.

Kickstand: When you're not riding, the aluminum kickstand will keep your bike upright. The slip-resistant rubber foot keeps your bike from falling over.

Battery: The GoPower 48-volt Lithium-ion battery pack has a 10.4 Ah capacity. It charges in approximately 4 hours with the included 2A charger. Depending on the pedal assist level used, the battery has a range of approximately 36 miles, or 20 miles in electric mode. It has a covered charging port that is protected from the elements. The battery slides into place on the frame, and can be locked with a key to prevent theft. The battery can be charged on or off the bike. An LED indicator on the battery shows the battery status. The battery weighs approximately 4.6 pounds.
