Overview: The iOttie Aivo Connect™ is an automatic wireless charging car mount with Alexa built-in. The mount attaches to your dashboard or windshield and holds your phone securely while wirelessly charging it. Aivo Connect comes with a car charger and two adhesive-backed mounting bases.

Mounting: The primary mounting location should be on your dashboard for best performance and viewing angle. The adhesive twist-locking base securely holds the mount, even in bumpy conditions. If your dashboard is leather or curved, you can mount the base to your windshield. Once you have locked the Aivo Connect into the base, you can tilt the phone cradle to one of the five positions for best viewing. The cradle also rotates 90° counter-clockwise to switch from portrait (vertical) to landscape (horizontal) orientation.

Auto Sense™: Aivo Connect features Auto Sense™ that automatically opens and closes the side arms via a silent step motor to hold and release your phone. An Infrared Proximity sensor in the center of the charging pad detects when your phone is in range, and automatically clamps onto your phone in a smooth, fluid motion. To release your device, you can press one of the two buttons on the back of the cradle to open the arms. The Aivo Connect's side arms have non-slip soft rubber pads to gently cradle and secure your phone, and protect it from scratches.

Alexa Built-in: With Alexa built-in, you can control your phone hands-free while driving safely. Alexa lets you use voice commands to get directions to your destination, listen to an audiobook, play your favorite music, or make a phone call. To activate Alexa, simply press the Invoke Alexa button on the base. Alexa's signature blue LED ring around the base indicates interaction. Dual microphones in the front and one in the back can pick up your voice, even with road noise or with music or the air conditioning on. A mute button on the base lets you turn off the microphones at any time to protect your privacy. When used with an aux input or your phone's Bluetooth connection, Alexa plays through your car speakers. With Aivo Connect, you can access over 100,000 Alexa skills. You can group together multiple skills into a routine.

Wireless Charging: The Qi-Certified Aivo Connect keeps your smartphone charged when in the mount. It has been tested by the Wireless Power Consortium for safety, effectiveness, and compatibility. Aivo Connect charges your phone via induction through wire coils embedded in the charging pad and the back of your Qi-compatible smartphone. The Qi Receiver Coil is generally located in the center area of the phone, so you must properly position the device over the charging pad. Aivo Connect provides 10W or 7.5W Fast Charging to your smartphone. The charging pad also features Foreign Object Detection to safely block wireless charging when an object gets between the pad and your phone.

Car Charger: The Aivo Connect comes with a plug-in car charger with a 47" USB-C cable. The plug has an additional USB Type A port for charging another device. Specifications of the Car Charger are:

Compatibility: The Aivo Connect works with Qi-Wireless Charging-compatible devices, including the following:

• Apple: iPhone 13 (incl. Mini, Pro, Pro Max), iPhone 12 (incl. Mini, Pro, Pro Max), iPhone 11 (incl. Pro, Pro Max), iPhone X (incl. XS, XS Max, XR), and iPhone 8 (incl. 8 Plus).
• Samsung: Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S20, S20+, Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, Z Flip, Z Fold, Note 10, Note 10+, S10e, S10, S10+, Note 9, S9, S9+, Note 8, S8, and S8 Plus.
• Google: Pixel 5, Pixel 4, Pixel 3

Amazon Alexa App: To set up and configure the Alexa functionality of the Aivo Connect, you will need to log into the Amazon Alexa app. In the app, you can set music, navigation, and other preferences to use your favorite apps. Your smartphone will need to connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi or Cellular Data. The app runs in the background to receive your voice-activated commands. The Amazon Alexa app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch running iOS 11.0 or later, and with Android devices running version 6.0 and up.

iOttie Connect App: The iOttie Connect app supports the Aivo Connect, as well as the Aivo View dash cam, keeping the devices up-to-date with the latest firmware. The app is compatible with iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 11.0 or later, and with Android devices running version 6.0 and up.
