What is the difference between Crossfires and Crossfire II ?

The rd1 had 7,000 hrs of battery life on setting 6. The new rd2 advertises 50,000 hrs of battery life at setting 6. I haven’t found any real reviews yet on the new one.

Will this optic mount up top of a Unity Fast micro high rise mount? Expert Answer

This Vortex Crossfire II 1x22mm 2 MOA Red Dot Sight will not fit that mount but the Vortex Sparc will. You can find it here:

It’s a dead ringer for an Aimpoint Micro but a fraction of the price. Not sure if it’s as durable because I haven’t banged it around like I have the aimpoint but for what I’m going to use it for it’s not necessary.

Very nice optic for the price. It is plenty bright even for use outdoors in bright sunlight. I currently have mine mounted on a Kriss Vector and it is a perfect pairing. It comes with high and low mounts so it is good to have that option.

Leave it on setting 6 and change the battery once a year. The batteries are cheap and the optic is basic but does everything youd want it to.With the warranty the extra mounting options and the price i couldnt pass it up.
