Mysterious but nice

Roland manufactures this bench typically as the "RPB-100", but also as the mysterious "PB-1". The two models are identical other than the lack of the gold "Roland" logo on the latter. What's the major difference? - about $85!! Do you really want to pay that much extra for a few ml of gold paint? I have the PB-1 and it is quite comfortable. It works great with my YAM P-515. It also is the tallest bench available commercially, if you don't want one with a wonky adjustable feature (none of those works well anyway). The bench comes packaged well, but invariably will arrive with a few minor scuffs to the legs as mine did. It's hard to figure out how that could happen, given the well-protected parts. Maybe that's why the PB-1 costs less (i.e., are they "seconds"??). In any case, the scuffs are minuscule and not worth obsessing over. I do recommend this bench, especially for taller people (like me) who need a higher seat. And.... if you don't give squat about a logo, then suss out the PB-1 version for less than half the price.

Nice height, nice storage, nice seat/ lid, nice kid, where'd this kid come from? This is a one-person piano bench. Not for teachers or kids.

Perfect Bench

This is the perfect piano bench. It has a storage space under the seat and speaking of the seat, the cushion is just right.
