Beautiful and comfortable!

After much thought, I decided to purchase the Roland RPB-D400BK Duet Piano Bench, and am glad I did. I called Sweetwater with a few questions and ordered while on the phone. To my delight, it was delivered the next day! This is a very sturdy, substantial bench. The seat and height adjustment mechanism are beefy and well put together. It was easy to assemble the legs with the included wrench. Once assembled, I tested for leg wobble and found none. The seat itself is very, very comfortable. Top of the Heap ?

Roland RPB-D400BK Piano Bench is exactly what a full sized adult needs for worry free support. I destroyed an On--Stage KT7800 bench when it launched me while simply turning sideways. I bought the Roland RPB-200PE which is OK for smaller folks, and led me to this Roland duet style bench. Extremely sturdy, well made and comfortable. Probably not as comfy as a Steinway, but for an extra $700. I can live with the difference. $ + tax / good deal.

Solid and comfortable

I needed a piano bench because I was starting to learn to play piano again and I couldn't be happier I invested on the adjustable larger model. The size is perfect to make it a multitasker and it's super comfortable for long sessions. My keyboard has fixed legs so the adjustability was key. I was hoping the storage was a bit deeper so I could keep some other items safely stowed away when not in use, but it's only about half an inch deep. Probably helpful for sheet music or books. If you follow the instructions included in the box, the bench is super sturdy and there is no wobble. I have a laminate wood flooring that is wavy if not lumpy but the bench is super sturdy and does not wobble. Would definitely recommend this if you're going to be spending some time in front of keys, it's well worth the investment.

Need this for children

We have a 4 year old so this is a must for the adjustment in height. The storage is nice. Shipping was fast and well packaged

Well built and beautiful bench

Comfort and stability are key when playing and this bench is perfect. Looks great, feels great and has room for some music under the seat. Wish it had double the room for music but I still think it is 5 Star worthy.
