There's also a shorter 5' USB-A to micro USB cable included for quickly switching between vehicles, performing camera firmware updates, and transferring camera data to a laptop or tablet.

Product Research

Features

Overview: The Garmin Dual USB Power Adapter (010-12530-06) is an accessory to the Garmin Dash Cam series. The adapter plugs into your vehicle's 12V power port, and provides two USB-A charging ports - one for the Dash Cam and the other for charging your phone, tablet, portable GPS, or other device. Also included are the long and short power cables for your Dash Cam.

Compatibility: The Dual USB Power Adapter works with most USB-powered portable devices, including smartphones, tablets, headphones, portable GPS devices, and, of course, the following Garmin Dash Cam series units (as of May 2023):

Power Adapter: The power adapter inserts into your vehicle's 12-volt power port and simultaneously provides power to your Dash Cam and one other USB-powered device. It is compatible with 12-volt and 24-volt vehicle electrical systems, and provides an output of 5V and 2.4A total current divided between the two USB-A charging ports. The adapter's dimensions are 1.031" in diameter and 1.773" long.

Power Cables: The Dual USB Power Adapter comes with two Dash Cam power cables, allowing you to install the camera. The longer cable (13.25 feet) can be used for a more permanent installation, feeding the cable up and around the windshield, and tucked out of sight behind the vehicle trim. The shorter cable can be used for temporary installations, especially if you transfer the camera from one vehicle to another. It can also be used as a data cable for updating the camera's firmware or downloading recorded videos and photos.
