What sets the C1 Series apart?
You'll find dependably strong construction and finish, epitomized by this system's polypropylene woofer and durable rubber surround. That woofer delivers impactful lows and, along with its crossover, is specially designed for a natural roll-off transition to the highs handled by the tweeter. This "Silk Edition" (SE) system includes edge-driven silk dome tweeters that provide distinctively smooth sound, setting it apart from other speakers in its class. You'll hear crisp (but not harsh) detail in the high frequencies, incredible imaging, and minimal distortion no matter how you power them — using either car stereo or amplifier power.
Handy installation
In addition to its 6-1/2" size, JL Audio includes woofer brackets that accommodate 6-3/4" factory openings to fit a wider range of vehicles. Additionally, there are options for surface- and flush-mount tweeter installation, depending on your application. Since the crossovers for the woofers and tweeters are in line with the speaker wire, there's no need to find room for a separate component when it comes time to install your speakers.
Note: Woofer grilles are not included; the woofers are designed to fit behind factory grilles or panels for most applications.

Power Handling: JL Audio publishes several power specifications for this speaker system, 50 watts continuous power handling (RMS), 225 watts peak music power, and 10-75 watts recommended amplifier power (RMS). We've listed the conservative combination of 10-50 watts RMS in the specs table.
Woofer Mounting: Without an adapter, the woofers fit standard 6¾" applications. Given their required cutout, they will also fit 6½" applications without an adapter, but often require drilling new screw holes. Using the included adapter brackets they can be mounted in a variety of 6½" and 6¾" applications, without any modification. Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.

Crossovers: Four in-line crossovers are included, two 18 dB/octave high-pass for the tweeters and two 12 dB/octave low-pass for the woofers. Each crossover has unterminated 31" input wires (tinned bare wire) and 19" output wires terminated with quick-slides, male on the high-pass output to mate with the terminals on the wire attached to the tweeters, and female on the low-pass output that plug onto the woofer terminals.

I installed these in my 2020 Explorer with the B&O system. Night and day difference in sound. The clarity is superior than the factory speakers. I would recommend giving them a try. Installation was easy too!
