System Overview: The Lorex Mirage Series 4K 6-Channel 1TB Wireless NVR System (L85591-8AA4-E) lets you create an expandable personal home security system. Included in the system are four 4K wireless, battery-powered cameras and a Network Video Recorder (NVR) with 1TB of video storage. You can add one or two more U855AA-E wireless cameras (sold separately in black or white), if desired. The NVR system can be monitored locally with a connected TV or computer monitor, or remotely via the Lorex Cirrus app. The security system is also compatible with Google Assistant voice assistant.

4K Cameras: The Lorex 4K Battery-Operated Cameras (Model U855AA-E) can be installed anywhere you want. They are powered by strong 3-cell Lithium-ion batteries and connect wirelessly to the NVR, so there are no cables to run. The cameras have the following features:

• Video: The 4K Battery-Operated Camera has an 8MP 1/2.7" CMOS image sensor that produces 4K (3840 x 2160) 16:9 UHD video.
• Lens: The camera has a 2.8mm fixed focal length lens with a wide f/1.6 aperture. It has a field of view that is 178° horizontal, 61° vertical, and 138° diagonal.
• Video Transmission: The camera communicates with the NVR via Wi-Fi HaLow. Wi-Fi HaLow signals transmit in the less crowded frequency band below 1 GHz, and can travel a maximum of 1,968 feet.
• Security Light: The camera features an extra layer of security with a motion-activated warning light.
• Night Vision: The camera is equipped with powerful Infrared LEDs to enable the camera to record video in the dark or low light conditions. With Color Night Vision, the camera can record in color in low light (0.05 lux) at F1.2 and automatic gain control on. With the infrared LEDs on, it records crisp video in black & white in complete darkness (0 lux). The maximum Night Vision range is 40 feet.
• Two-way Audio: The camera features a microphone and a speaker that enable two-way communication. With the Lorex Cirrus app, you can talk to and listen to the person on the camera.
• Siren: The camera has an extra level of deterrence with a loud, remote-triggered siren. The siren can be manually triggered from the Lorex Cirrus app to scare away uninvited visitors.
• Motion Detection: The 4K Battery-Operated Camera offers Motion Detection to alert you when there's activity outside your home. PIR (passive infrared) sensors recognize infrared light emitted from nearby objects to detect motion up to 35 feet in front of the camera. When motion is detected, the security light comes on, the NVR begins recording video, and the system alerts you on the Lorex Cirrus app so you can take action.
• Mounting: The camera can be mounted indoors or outdoors on a wall or ceiling with the included bracket. The bracket features a swiveling mount that lets you aim the camera where you want. The camera has an IP66 weather-resistance rating, meaning it can withstand a variety of weather conditions and temperatures. It can operate in a temperature range of -4°F to +122°F (-20°C to 50°C).
• Power Requirements: The camera is powered by the included ACBATTR3A-CT Lithium-ion rechargeable battery (3.7V / 8700mA / 32.19Wh). The 3-cell battery charges in approximately 4 to 6 hours, which provides enough battery life for up to 600 motion events.
• Optional Video Storage: Video from the camera is stored in the system's connected Network Video Recorder (NVR). A microSD card can be inserted in the camera for optional independent video storage. You can access data through the camera using a web browser, but the video captured on the SD card will not upload to the NVR or to the cloud for mobile app viewing.

Network Video Recorder (NVR): The hub of the Mirage Series 4K 1TB NVR System is the L85591 Network Video Recorder. Features of the NVR include:

• 6 Channels: The L85591 NVR is capable of recording up to 6 channels of video from connected wireless cameras (like the included U855AA-E). The system includes an on-screen display and an optical mouse (USB) for configuring the system and navigating the menus.
• Cameras: The system includes four U855AA-E wireless cameras that can be connected via Wi-Fi Halow 802.11ah (< 1 GHz). Two more can be added to your system, either U855AA-E (white) or U855AAB-E (black).
• Display: On a connected TV or monitor, the NVR lets you display live video at a resolution of up to 4K (3840 x 2160) in full screen for a single channel, or in a grid of four or six channels. In addition to 4K output, you can select 2560 x 1440, 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 720, or 1280 x 1024 resolution.
• Recording: The NVR can record video with H.265 video and G.711 audio compression at 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) at a maximum frame rate of 15 fps.
• Storage: The 4K NVR System features local storage which requires no monthly fees. The NVR has a single bay for a SATA Hard Disk Drive (HDD) with a pre-installed 2.5" 1TB SATA HDD. When the HDD is full, the system will override the oldest recordings, by default, assuring your system will continue to record without requiring input from you. If desired, you can set up the system to stop recording once the hard disk drive is full. You can backup video from the HDD onto a USB flash drive, or onto an inserted microSD card.
• Playback: The NVR lets you play back recorded video with the following functions: Play, Pause, Stop, Fast Playback (2x, 4x, 8x, 16x), Slow Playback (1/2x, 1/4x, 1/8x, 1/16x), Previous Frame, and Next Frame.
• Active Deterrence: The included battery-operated cameras which have Motion Detection and Person Detection with a bright LED warning light and remote-triggered siren.
• Ethernet: The NVR connects to your local network via a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connection. A 1-meter Ethernet cable is included.
• Inputs/Outputs: The L85591 Network Video Recorder has the following connections:
  • HDMI: Single HDMI output for connecting a monitor or TV. A 39" HDMI cable is included.
  • LAN: RJ-45 port for connecting the NVR to your router for remote connectivity and automatic firmware updates.
  • 2 USB Ports: One USB-A port is provided for connecting the USB Mouse (included). A second USB-A port is for a USB flash drive (not included) for data backup or manual firmware updates.
  • microSD Slot: A microSD card slot is provided for data backup or firmware updates.
  • DC In: DC barrel connector for the included power adapter.

Lorex Cirrus App: The Lorex Cirrus app lets you stay connected to the 4K 1TB NVR Security System from anywhere. The app lets you view live video from multiple connected cameras, and play back recorded video stored on the NVR. When you receive an alert that someone is on your property or at your door, you can converse with them with two-way audio on the app. The Cirrus app lets you draw motion zones to prevent false alerts. You can view a timeline for all of the alerts you receive in the app. The app lets you set up and control the security system, including all of the settings. The Lorex Cirrus is compatible with Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch with iOS 11.0 or later. It also works with Mac with macOS 11.0 or later and Apple M1 chip or later. The app is also compatible with Android devices running version 5.0 and up.

Google Assistant: The Lorex NVR system is compatible with Google Assistant. Smart displays, such as the Google Nest Hub, will show you the view from your cameras with a voice command. You can also monitor your security camera footage on a larger screen.
