Inspires confidence

I have both the K & M keyboard stand, and now the matching bench. Big bucks for both. Worth every penny. If you are just in your bedroom fooling around with an entry level something, don't bother. Wait a minute, if you intend to get serious these will last the rest of your life, and onto the next generation.
But if you EVER perform in public, you know the last thing you want in anything shaky, stages, mike stands, and keyboard stands and benches. You want to concentrate on what you do best, create music. Not worry about not hitting that special lick because your arms and fingers were a different distance from the keyboard. Consistency is what you need, and these give it in spades.

A sturdy, comfortable, and quiet piano bench

Not all studio purchases are exciting. It is not easy to justify spending over a basic budget for items like chairs, mic stands, cables, etc...At the end of the day, basic good working gear suffices most of the time for most people.

My reason for buying this K&M piano bench is because my old trusty one was noisy and a bit unstable after years of use. Come to think of it. It always was a bit sketchy if the pins weren't completely locked and tightened. By design, it was always going to be ok for live music, but not good for quietly recording. That brings me to this awesome piece of engineering. It is worth every penny to anyone looking for a comfortable, rock solid, and quiet seat in the studio. It also folds nicely for bringing to a gig. Heavy, but rightfully so. The K & M brand is one I was familiar when I realized how much better their mic stands held up and supported mics in comparison to lower cost budget brands. I believe in buying quality studio gear and taking good care of it so it outlast the life cycle of cheaper alternatives. Thankfully, my expectations were exceeded when I put headphones on and did not hear one sound from the piano bench when recording. Not having to edit unwelcome sounds saves time, money, and frustration.

OUtstanding bench ...

This bench is the best I've ever used. Very sturdy construction, easy to break down and build back up (folds relatively flat) very adjustable to fit your individual needs. The bees knees, can highly recommend.

Amazing bench

I bought this for playing classical guitar, I use a guitar support so I have to sit when I play. It seemed a little expensive but I have a high end setup and it really compliments my equipment. It's definitely worth the money in my opinion. High quality, beautiful, and comfortable. I'm extremely happy with my purchase ☺
