That is a Video/Visual to 3.5 millimeter adapter it is usually used to hook up something like a DVD player to your radio or a rear seat tv I'm not sure if your radio is compatible with such features it would be in the manul or perhaps the company website hopefully this helps.

Kristopher, It was recommended that I purchase this when I replaced the radio in my Escalade. I did not find a need for it. I think it allows you to connect a phone to the radio for A/V.
